Getting Started

Grubbio is a platform that helps restaurants, cafes, bars, food trucks, and bakeries create mobile-first landing pages with interactive menus and review sections. Think of it as your food place's digital home where customers can browse your dishes, read reviews, and find your location before visiting.

Grubbio is built for food place owners, managers, and marketing staff who want to establish or improve their digital presence. It is also for food lovers who want to discover restaurants, browse menus, and read honest reviews before deciding where to eat.

Yes. Creating a listing and publishing your brand page on Grubbio is completely free. You can add your menu, upload photos, and start collecting reviews at no cost. Premium features may be introduced in the future, but your core listing will always remain free.

Most listings go live within minutes after submission. Simply fill out the Add Listing form with your food place details, hours, and menu, and your page will be published once our team reviews it for accuracy.

Yes. Every published Grubbio page comes with a unique URL that can be converted into a QR code. Print it on table cards, receipts, flyers, or your storefront so customers can scan and view your full menu instantly on their phones.

Add & Claim Listing

Go to the Add Listing page and fill in your food place details including name, category, location, hours, and menu. Once submitted, your listing will be reviewed and published within a short time.

If your food place already has a page on Grubbio, you can claim it by visiting the listing and selecting the Claim This Listing option. You will need to verify your identity as the owner or authorized representative to gain editing access.

At a minimum, you need your food place name, category, location (country, city, address), and a brief description. For a stronger listing, we recommend also adding your opening hours, phone number, menu items with prices, and photos.

If a page for your food place already exists, you do not need to create a new one. Instead, use the Claim Listing feature to request ownership. Creating duplicates may delay your verification and confuse customers.

Yes. Once you have verified ownership, you can update your listing at any time. Change your menu, hours, photos, description, and contact details whenever you need to. Updates go live after a quick review.

Smart Menus & Updates

A smart menu is a digital, mobile-friendly version of your food menu hosted on your Grubbio page. Unlike a static PDF, it is searchable, easy to update, and displays clearly on any device. Customers can browse categories, see prices, and view dish descriptions without downloading anything.

Yes. The Quick Menu Builder lets you organize items by category (starters, mains, desserts, drinks, etc.), set prices, and add short descriptions for each dish. Photo support for individual items is planned for a future update.

Yes. If you already have a PDF or image version of your menu, you can upload it directly through the Add Listing form. We recommend also using the Quick Menu Builder for better search visibility and mobile experience, but PDF uploads are fully supported.

Absolutely. You can edit your menu at any time after publishing. Add new items, remove discontinued dishes, update prices, or reorganize categories. Changes reflect on your live page after a quick review.

Yes. You can add, update, or remove menu items whenever you want, making it easy to feature daily specials, seasonal offerings, or limited-time promotions. Your smart menu stays current without needing to reprint anything.

Reviews & Ratings

Visitors can leave star ratings and written reviews on any published food place page. Reviews are displayed publicly along with an overall average rating to help other diners make informed decisions about where to eat.

Yes. Verified owners can reply to reviews directly on their listing page. Responding to feedback, both positive and negative, shows customers that you care and helps build trust with potential visitors.

Grubbio uses a combination of automated detection and manual moderation to identify suspicious review activity. Reviews that violate our content guidelines or appear inauthentic are flagged for review and may be removed.

If you believe a review is fake, abusive, or violates our guidelines, you can report it using the flag option on the review card. Our moderation team will investigate and take appropriate action, typically within a few business days.

Owners cannot directly remove reviews. However, if a review violates our content policy (spam, hate speech, or false information), you can report it and our team will evaluate it for removal. Genuine negative feedback remains visible to maintain trust.

Discovering Food Places

Use the search bar on the homepage or visit the All Locations page to browse food places by city or area. You can also filter by category such as restaurants, cafes, bars, food trucks, and more.

Toplists are curated collections of the best food places in a specific city or category. For example, "Best Sushi in Amsterdam" or "Top Brunch Spots in London." They help visitors quickly discover highly rated options based on reviews and editorial picks.

No. You can browse food places, view menus, and read reviews without creating an account. An account is only needed if you want to leave reviews, save favorites, or manage a food place listing.

Yes. Every food place page has a unique shareable URL. You can copy and send the link via messaging apps, email, or social media. It is a quick way to recommend a restaurant, cafe, or bar to anyone.

Reporting Issues

If you notice outdated or wrong information on a food place page, use the Report option on that listing or contact us with the page URL and a description of the issue. Our team will verify and correct the information promptly.

If you find two pages for the same food place, please contact us with the URLs of both listings. We will merge or remove the duplicate to ensure a clean and accurate directory.

If a food place has permanently closed, you can report it through the listing page or reach out to our team. We will verify the closure and update or archive the listing accordingly.
